The Slam

Slamming is a grappling move that is often done to take down the opponent. However, it can be quite dangerous. One of the principles of slamming is relying on gravity. Human Beings are heavy animals, and we often hurt ourselves just from tripping and falling. Slamming can generate a lot of force.

Perhaps the biggest risk of slamming someone is for them to hit their head on a surface. In modern days, a lot of our surfaces are hard concrete, which can spell serious danger if slammed into the concrete. Human brains are extremely fragile, and never really “heal” following an injury. By slamming someone on any surface, you risk breaking their neck and giving them permanent brain damage.
